A little over a week ago we had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful and fun witted people on a slightly overcast but beautiful day in Cairns. Carmon & Brad were married at the Colonial club accompanied with close friends, family, a Kombi van and a photo booth – random! Fun and adventurous personalities in front of a lens always make for interesting photos and there were plenty of them for us to choose from. And to Brad and Carmon, Mefoto would like to thank you for allowing us to be apart of your special day and we hope to continue in providing our service in capturing your life journeys, in the near future. For now here is a chapter of your life story that we are honoured to share.

Mission Beach Wedding – Renee & Colin
We had the privilege to shoot our very first Mission Beach wedding at the famous Elandra Resort. Renee and Colin our ‘night in paradise promotion’ winners tied the knot at probably one of the nicest places we have photographed here in North Queensland. We shared a few laughs, shed tears of Joy (speaking on behalf of Col)) and had a whole lot of fun. We hope all of you reading this enjoy a snippet of the many photographs taken on their special day!
Cairns photography – Brother + Sister
We spent a lovely 26 degree, North Queensland winter’s afternoon, chilling by beach. We often get mothers contacting us, mentioning they would like family portraits done, which they’ve planned to do years back. I’m sure as a parent you would agree that they sure do grow up fast, a little to fast at times. We were glad to photograph the friendly characters of Maddy & Kurtis as we watched the Cairns sunset over the rocks.
Cairns photographers – mefoto team workshop
Our very lovely and always so happy Rowena (pronounced Ro-wee-na), kindly organised a creative shoot with the rest of the mefoto team. And for the potential brides reading this, don’t worry, we won’t let you sit in a field of ant-infested grass and run around in horse poop! We’re just photographers playing around here! This is what we had: at least one acre of land to run free in, a horse named Bailey, one heavy chair, a lovely girl, one life line veil, potato chips in case we got the munchies, a river, an amazing dress from North Queensland Bridal, a hairdresser from ‘the hair studio’ and awesome North Queensland light. Yay! We shot quite a few that day; here is a snippet of just a few. Ow and check us again on the next post, we have specials with old mate Fotofunbooth - portable photo booths for your next wedding!!!
